About

A practice, by design.

Wellness Elite Fitness opened in 2019 in Friendswood, Texas. Founded and owned by Imani Lowery. Built to program strength, recovery, longevity, and nutrition as one practice — not as four separate vendors sharing a parking lot.

Inside the practice
Founder & mission

The mission, in plain language.

I founded Wellness Elite Fitness in 2019 because the wellness industry sells modalities — one for strength, one for recovery, one for diagnostics, one for nutrition — and asks the member to integrate them on their own. Most can’t. I built a place that does the integration for them.

The practice is small on purpose. The team doesn’t scale by adding bodies; the team scales by raising the standard. Atlas, the named coach, is the layer that holds your training, your recovery cadence, your last lab read, and the team’s notes in one thread. Najla Crawford, LPC — Director of Practice — Behavioral Wellness. The trainers are on the floor when the door is open.

The practice is membership-only on purpose — the consult, the tour, the floor, and the protocols are reserved for the people who want a practice, not a gym membership. If this is the right month, the practice is here. If not, the practice will be here next month too.

Imani Lowery also leads the Executive Wellness Corporate Program — a ninety-day cohort engagement for Houston-south leadership teams.

The Four Pillars

Programmed as one.

Each pillar by itself is a hobby. Sequenced into one cycle, by one team, in one room, the four pillars become a practice.

I.

Strength

The floor — specified from Panatta, Atlantis, and Watson. Personal training, MetCon, open floor.

II.

Recovery

Hyperbaric oxygen, cryotherapy, infrared sauna, float, therapeutic massage, IV hydration. Sequenced into the program.

III.

Longevity

Body composition, resting metabolic rate, and the 49-marker Executive Panel

IV.

Nutrition

Practice-led nutrition coaching and behavioral wellness counsel with Najla Crawford, LPC. Threaded through the cycle.

Adjacent

The work that surrounds the practice.

Three references that orbit the wellness facility — the publication, the apparel, and the named coach. Each is its own line; together they make the brand.

Publication

The Bioneer

Our quarterly print and digital magazine. Long-form thinking on biohacking, longevity, recovery, and the science the practice is reading. Subscriptions and back issues live at thebioneermag.com.

“Excellent gym! The staff and owner are very welcoming, friendly, and accommodating. The equipment is in top shape (most if not all is new) and the entire place is always spotless. I joined six months ago and am very pleased that I did.…”
