Active Texas Licensed Professional Counselor · Director of Practice — Behavioral Wellness
Cognitive, person-centered, and trauma-informed clinical work — selected against the member's actual presentation rather than a one-size protocol. The whole-person leg of the WEF practice.
Najla leads the behavioral wellness arm of Wellness Elite Fitness. She is an actively licensed Texas Professional Counselor (LPC) holding clinical responsibility for the cognitive layer of every member who engages it. Her practice is secular and modality-agnostic — the method follows the person in the room, not the other way around. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, and Trauma-Informed approaches are her primary frames; the right combination is decided in consult.
For members at WEF, the behavioral layer is the third leg under the strength + recovery + cellular health stack. The members for whom the rest of the practice produces less than expected are usually the members whose cognitive layer hasn't been addressed. Najla's chair is where that conversation starts.
Najla's chair is for the member under sustained cognitive load — the executive whose performance is the asset, the operator running multiple businesses, the parent navigating a transition, the recovering high-achiever finally taking the foot off the gas. It is also for members who have done the strength and recovery work for years and recognize the next layer is the cognitive one.
Behavioral wellness counseling with Najla is bundled into the Diamond Plus membership tier. Members on other tiers can scope sessions in by consult; rate is shared at the front desk. WEF is a wellness center, not a clinical mental-health facility — clinical-acuity cases are referred to appropriate licensed providers.
Najla is a licensed clinical counselor (LPC). Her work is clinical, but Wellness Elite Fitness frames it as the behavioral wellness layer of an integrated practice rather than as primary mental-health treatment. Members with diagnosed conditions requiring acute clinical care are referred to appropriate providers; the behavioral layer here is the prevention + maintenance layer.
Fifty minutes in a dedicated private room separate from the strength floor and recovery suite. The first session is intake and orientation; subsequent sessions are paced against the member's actual presentation. Cadence is typically weekly to start, taper as the work progresses.
Najla's practice at WEF is secular. Modalities are evidence-based clinical frames (CBT, PCT, trauma-informed). Members are met where they are.
Wellness Elite Fitness is a private wellness practice; behavioral wellness with Najla is bundled into membership at the Diamond Plus tier or scoped by consult. Some members apply HSA / FSA dollars with physician guidance — eligibility varies by plan. Front desk assists with documentation.
