NeuroMD Therapy in Friendswood, TX.

Targeted neuromuscular electrical stimulation as a non-invasive recovery and posture-correction practice. Programmed sessions, screened by our physician team, sequenced against training load.

The practice

What NeuroMD actually does.

NeuroMD is a targeted neuromuscular electrical stimulation device. Electrodes deliver pulsed current to specific muscle groups, producing a contraction that the central nervous system did not initiate. Used in physical-therapy and recovery contexts for decades; we deliver it as a programmed wellness practice rather than as an episodic chiropractic visit.

Sessions at Wellness Elite are 20 to 30 minutes. Members lie down or sit while the device targets specific zones — lower back, glutes, shoulders, calves, or whatever the panel and the training week call for. The signal is gentle, not painful; most members read during the session.

Use cases

Where members actually use it.

Three patterns dominate. Post-training muscle activation when soreness is masking output. Posture-correction blocks for members in long sedentary work weeks. Pre-training warm-up for members with a specific zone the panel says is under-recruiting. We program against the answer to "what is the signal."

Honest screening

When to talk to a physician.

Pacemakers, implanted electronic devices, pregnancy, active malignancy in the treatment zone, certain seizure histories, and damaged or broken skin are clear screens. Dr. Chaudhari reviews each new member's history before sessions begin.

"I had a chronically lazy left glute. Three weeks of programmed NeuroMD plus the strength block fixed what twelve months of foam rolling did not."

Common questions

Frequently asked.

What is NeuroMD therapy?

NeuroMD is a targeted neuromuscular electrical stimulation device. It delivers gentle pulsed current to specific muscle groups, producing a contraction the central nervous system did not initiate. Used as a wellness recovery and posture-correction practice.

Is NeuroMD safe?

Generally well-tolerated. Pacemakers, implanted electronic devices, pregnancy, active malignancy in the treatment zone, certain seizure histories, and damaged skin are clear screens. We screen each new member through Dr. Chaudhari first.

Does NeuroMD hurt?

No. The pulsed current is gentle; members read or rest during the session. The intensity is dialed up to a comfortable contraction, not pain.

How often should I do NeuroMD sessions?

2 to 3 sessions per week, 20 to 30 minutes each, is the cadence we program for most active members. The signal compounds over a 4 to 6 week block.

Is this a medical treatment?

No. NeuroMD at Wellness Elite Fitness is a wellness practice. We do not treat, cure, diagnose, or prevent disease. Members with clinical indications (specific injury rehab, post-surgical) are referred to their physician or to our chiropractic partner Weiss Dynamic Chiropractic.
