Behavioral wellness for the operator recalibrating after weight-loss medication.
Behavioral support alongside GLP-1 and weight-loss medication protocols. The behavioral substrate the medication does not address — read against the biomarker panel, the strength floor, and the recovery cycle at Wellness Elite Fitness in Friendswood, TX.
Behavioral support for GLP-1 and weight-loss medication at Wellness Elite Fitness is licensed behavioral wellness counseling led by Najla Crawford, LPC at the practice in Friendswood, TX. The work addresses the behavioral substrate the medication does not — patterns of eating, sleep, stress, and recovery that survive the prescription and shape what holds after the dose. Wellness Elite Fitness does not prescribe medication, adjust the prescription, or direct medication decisions. Prescription decisions stay with the member's physician or with Dr. Swet Chaudhari, MD at the adjacent practice, Elite Aesthetic MD. Located at 104 Whispering Pines Ave, Friendswood, TX 77546 — twelve to twenty-five minutes from most of the Houston-south corridor.
The frame
The medication quiets the noise. The work stays.
Members come to Wellness Elite Fitness after losing weight on tirzepatide, semaglutide, or related weight-loss medication. The panel is cleaner than it has been in years. And then the same sentence shows up: the food noise quieted, but the eleven-p.m. pattern stayed. Or — the medication did the weight, but the next time stress hits, the old loop runs anyway. Or — I tapered off, and within ninety days I was back.
That gap is not a willpower failure. It is the absence of a behavioral wrap-around. The medication does excellent work at the metabolic and appetite-regulation surface. It does not address the behavioral substrate underneath — the patterns that fired before the prescription and tend to fire again as the appetite signal returns toward baseline. That substrate is what licensed behavioral counseling addresses, and what most weight-loss programs skip entirely.
The work is not more discipline. The work is reducing the inputs that own your attention.
What WEF does — and does not do
Behavioral support. Not medication management.
Wellness Elite Fitness is a wellness facility. The behavioral wellness practice runs under Najla Crawford's Texas Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) license. Members receive:
- Behavioral counseling for emotional eating, binge patterns, compulsive patterns, and the post-taper rebound prevention work.
- Integration with biomarker panels (read by Dana Kantara), DEXA composition, training cadence, sleep architecture, and HRV trends.
- The Reset Cohort — a twelve-week closed-group container for six members, with Food Reset as one of three tracks designed for the post-medication landscape.
- Coordination with the member's prescribing physician or with Dr. Chaudhari at Elite Aesthetic MD when the picture goes clinical.
Wellness Elite Fitness does not prescribe medication, does not adjust the prescription, does not direct medication discontinuation, and is not a clinical step or a downstream layer of medical care. Prescription, dose adjustment, and any decision to start, change, or stop a medication stays entirely with the member's physician.
Najla Crawford is a Texas-Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). The behavioral wellness practice at Wellness Elite Fitness operates under her license. WEF is not a medical provider. Members with medication, prescription, or clinical questions are referred to their own physician or to Dr. Swet Chaudhari, MD at the adjacent practice, Elite Aesthetic MD. The behavioral work runs alongside — not as a substitute for — the medical layer.
What the work looks like
Counseling, integrated with the practice.
The first session is a scoping consult — forty-five minutes with Najla to map the behavioral landscape, identify the loop, and set the cadence. Subsequent sessions are seventy-five-minute group (Food Reset cohort) or forty-five-minute one-on-one (member-pace cadence). CBT-informed and trauma-informed approaches are used as appropriate, and brief structured engagements run alongside longer-arc work as the member's situation calls for.
The work reads against the data members already have. Dana Kantara reads the biomarker panel; Najla reads the behavioral and cognitive landscape; the coaching bench handles training; the recovery suite handles the recovery cycle. The medication itself runs through the prescribing physician. Members do not stack four separate offices; the practice runs as one read across four layers.
Who fits
For the operator recalibrating after the prescription.
The work fits members who have been on or are still on tirzepatide, semaglutide, or related medication and want the behavioral substrate addressed. It fits members tapering off who want the architecture in place before the appetite signal returns. It fits members whose food behavior was the persistent variable before the prescription and want to do the substrate work this time. It is built for high-functioning members — operators, leaders, household principals — whose patterns have survived every prior surface attempt.
It is not the right work for members in active eating-disorder treatment requiring intensive outpatient or residential care; those members are referred to specialized eating-disorder treatment centers. Members with active psychiatric crisis are referred to a psychiatrist or to emergency care. The scoping consult identifies fit before any cohort or counseling commitment is made.

Common questions
Frequently asked.
Does Wellness Elite Fitness prescribe GLP-1 medication or adjust the prescription?
No. Wellness Elite Fitness is a wellness facility, not a medical provider. The behavioral wellness practice runs under Najla Crawford’s Texas LPC license. Prescription, prescription adjustments, and medication decisions run through the member’s own physician or through Dr. Swet Chaudhari, MD at Elite Aesthetic MD.
Who is this behavioral support for?
Operators, leaders, and high-functioning members who have lost weight on tirzepatide, semaglutide, or related medication and want the behavioral substrate worked in parallel. Also members tapering off and concerned about the post-taper rebound. The work is the substrate the medication never addressed.
How is this different from clinical care?
This is behavioral wellness counseling. Members continue to follow up with their prescribing physician for any clinical question. Wellness Elite Fitness provides the behavioral, training, and recovery layer that surrounds the medical practice — not a downstream clinical step.
How does this work alongside my current physician?
The behavioral work runs in parallel with whatever medical care the member is receiving. Najla coordinates with the member’s physician when appropriate and reads the behavioral landscape against the biomarker panel, DEXA, training, and recovery. The medication relationship stays with the member’s physician.
What is The Reset Cohort?
The Reset Cohort is a twelve-week closed-group behavioral container led by Najla. The Food Reset track is built specifically for the post-medication landscape — the behavioral substrate that survives the prescription. Six members per cohort, weekly seventy-five-minute group session plus biweekly one-on-ones. Join the waitlist →
